About

Hi, I’m Vanshika, a social worker with a Master of Social Work from Australia and a law degree from India.

I’m an avid reader of self-help books, but putting what I read into practice is an ongoing process. Life at My Pace is where I share what I’m learning, what I’m trying and how it fits into everyday life.

Moving to Australia and learning to live independently has been a roller coaster. As the youngest and much-pampered daughter in my family, adjusting to life away from home while looking after my mental wellbeing has challenged me in ways I hadn’t expected.

I’m now working towards making meaningful changes, one step at a time. Here, I write about lifestyle, realistic productivity, building routines and navigating life as an immigrant. I also share my experiences of facing fears, working through social anxiety and building the confidence to live a more fulfilling life.

I’m still figuring things out, and this blog is part of that process. If you’re finding your own way too, I hope you’ll find something here that helps you take your next small step – at your own pace.
